Spinoff?

There was a mention at ExIsle a couple of weeks ago that the sequel pitch
appeared dead at this time. It's also thought that the Maru set is still
standing lending credence that the proposal was a serious one.

BTW there's also a suspicion the Maru set has been used in the filming of
_Bloodsuckers_ for SciFi. Something to watch for.

Steve Bacic said at the recent Shore Leave convention that the Maru set
is still waiting. He couldn't confirm that the spinoff idea was dead,
so perhaps there is hope that with decent writing....who knows?

With so many new sci-fi shows on the fall line-up if there
is a spinoff it won't be anytime soon.
