Without question, one of the greatest song jingles of all time, it
almost packs the emotional wallop of your favorite spiritual hymn or
R&B Classic. =A0I can remember the first time I heard this song way back
in the 70s on an episode of "HAPPY DAYS". =A0Potsie was taking an
anatomy/biology class and failing in part because the professor seemed
to have it in for him--he desperately needed a good grade on his test
about the Circulatory System. =A0Fonzie helps him study and convinces
him
that the easiest way to learn the material is to link it all together
in a song. =A0Potsie gets a 100% on the test, but the professor accuses
him of cheating and is tearing him a new ass before Fonzie walks into
the classroom. =A0Fonzie and Potsie then precede to lead the classroom
in
a rendition of "Pump Your Blood", with Potsie (actor Anson Williams)
singing the song as he pushes the Professor around the classroom in a

and gives him an A+. =A0It was an almost God-like performance by Anson

in Canada, by the way. Well, 2 years ago we planned a trip to the
Southern California area (Santa Monica, CA) for early-September. The 3
of us went and fulfill his dream. We had a BLAST seeing the sights
(Universal Studios, a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Hollywood Walk Of

O'Conner, that guy from Hogan's Heros, etc. We did a "tomb rubbing"

going over the paper w/ crayon to make a copy of it) of many stars

Just thought I throw in a personal story about Heather. She gives me the

recognized Anson Williams for what he was; a marginally talented
actor/singer who did well in his role as Potsie, but was ill suited for
any kind of real acting job. As for his singing, he could hot the notes
alright, he was just incredibly bland. I used to cringe whenever I heard
him try to sing a song that required any kind of emotion.
Which is not to say that he hasn't become a very good TV director.

It was an almost God-like performance by Anson
Williams, and for a short time after that episode everyone in America
assumed he would leave the show to become the next big movie star.
I didn't. And neither did anyone else with a brain. Everyone alwasyWilliams, and for a short time after that episode everyone in America
assumed he would leave the show to become the next big movie star.
recognized Anson Williams for what he was; a marginally talented
actor/singer who did well in his role as Potsie, but was ill suited for
any kind of real acting job. As for his singing, he could hot the notes
alright, he was just incredibly bland. I used to cringe whenever I heard
him try to sing a song that required any kind of emotion.
Which is not to say that he hasn't become a very good TV director.
