I pretty much quit watching TV in high school, and started watching
again recently due to a slump in high-tech contracting causing me to
need cheap entertainment. I found there were some pretty good
speculative fiction shows - much better than most of what I remembered
from the 60s and 70s - in reruns, and some currently airing.
Now I find myself in a place with a definite lack of channels - and
hence reruns. So I've started using netflix and torrents to find these
things.
Which leads to my question - what have I missed? What good speculative
fiction has been made since ST:TOS, and is currently available either
on DVD or via torrent? A short description and a note on where to find
it would be appreciated as well. Come to think of it - if you didn't
like it well enough to want to describe it, maybe it's not good
enought to tell me about? But don't worry much about finding it -
given the title, I can take care of that.
Thanks,
