mixed up identities?

I bought most of the episodes of Andromeda (cheap), and am running through them.

In episodes 4.20 Erica Durance (now Lois Lane) appeared, and in episodes
4.21 and 4.22 I thought, wow, they've used her in successive episodes as
two different people! But the latter was actually Marjorie Monaghan. Are
the two actresses related? They have the same eyes.

I believe so, but I have never met him. My father's family came from Ballarat.
