Why can't there be any good science fiction TV?
because Babylon 5 is out of syndication.
Farscape was better science fiction.
Andromeda was better than both combined.

Baaaaaaaaahahahha.....no science fiction is good when you can't figure
out what the hell is going on. Even Sorbo had a problem with the
complicated storylines.

That last season of Andromeda was absolute trash.

I guess they wanted to stay consistent with the other seasons.

I got into Andromeda late and never picked up on it. There was
certainly a lot of action. I may get the DVDs one day.

What makes you say that it is better?

Oh, don't waste your money on the DVDs. Download, rent or watch reruns.
It's not worth the investment.

Am I the only one who thought the first season of Andromeda showed a
fair amount of promise that got flushed down the crapper in seasons 2
through whatever?

I agree that season one had promise. However after Robert Hewitt Wolfe
was pushed out as executive producer early in season two the story
quality went downhill.

About the time they got rid of Robert Wolfe, I think.

Most fans would agree...even those who still liked the show after it turned to
crap.

Have to agree about the closing credits. Probably the best I've heard.

No, the best closing credits are the disclaimer at the end of Xena and the
later series Hercules. When Xena did the Fall of Troy they built the Trojan
Horse out of wicker. The credits said IIRC that "No wooden horses gave their
lives in the production of this moving picture but many pieces of rattan
furniture made the ultimate sacrifice." Occasionally truly funny.

I've never watched either, but that is pretty good.

WRT Andromeda, I'm referring to the music.

You are going to have to wait your turn, because right now the pinko
commie media hold center stage when it comes to assimilation.
