I'm only a couple of days away from my unfortunate but inescapable move back
to Cornwall. The place of no comic stores, one half-assed book store that
gets things >two years after the rest of the world, an equally half-ass
music store, and a population of 80% senior citizens. :(

On the bright side, no more Cyberus. The bad news: no more Usenet (my mom's
machine has been thoroughly lobotomized; playing ~Tetris~ strains its system
resources).

I ~do~ intend to find my way back here, I'm not gonna just drift away. And
yes, I do have plans to continue my "Andromeda Alternaverse" series. It's
just going a lot slower than I thought. I'm midway through Season 3.
Hopefully I won't have to go through Google to post it.

With any luck I'll be able to escape from the societal black hole that is
Cornwall within the year. Breaking into (screen)writing is hard, especially
in Canada. You pretty much have to live in Toronto or Vancouver --no other
cities in Canada even ~have~ entertainment industries.

Have fun until my return.

Uh, not that my return would signal an end to the fun, or anything. . .

I'll just stop now.

If you are talking about Cornwall Ontario, then you are only about 4 hours
away from me, and trust me I know what you mean about no entertainment
industries anywhere around here. I have been writing for years, but as you
said, it is very difficult to get fully into the industry.
Anyhow, good luck in your new place and all the best to you!!

It appears you are from Canada. In the US almost every library has internet
access. I don't know how it works up there or whether you will be close to
one.

In any case, good luck and hope to hear back from you soon.

Sounds like quite a few open business opportunities.

Would a "Graduation sucks" be appropriate?

Good luck. Take care. Live long and prosper.
